Spacious room, great location for exploring, and the airport is nearby. 🌟 We made the right choice by staying in this place.

The location right at the end of the harbor is not bad, apart from the fact that you live above a supermarket and several bars / restaurants, which of course a certain noise goes out. Although the room is big enough, there may be no holiday mood. In the bathroom the plaster bursts from the ceiling, the bedding is relatively stiff, the quite friendly staff you have to pick up by phone to the front desk - for this price you can expect even more in New Zealand!
Too expensive, too impersonal, too loud.

The view from the deck over the lake, and being able to open a door to the outside
The shower door was too narrow. There was an enormous amount of water spilled onto the floor which the shower door could not contain.

The noise from the pub downstairs on a Wednesday night, although not overly bad, just a bit annoying.

Situated in pleasant area near to bar and marina
For us position of hotel was good , our stay was on a Tuesday and was quite ,however due to close proximity to bars we would assume that it would be very noisy at weekends and in summer months

Sunny room and the deck where you could open the doors. Close location to resturant, video store and grocery mart.
Visitor to came to see us and in the evening and the staff could not find us and give them room nor did they call the room to check. Would have liked to have available, a coffee plunger in the room.

The location is very nice, particularly enjoyed walking around the Marina & surrounds, The food and proximity of the Thai restaurant were a bonus. Also enjoyed the market on Sunday.
The noise from the pub especially on Sunday evening when the music was blaring and there were only a handful of patrons in the bar.

The small restaurant ( cant remenber the name) overlooking the marina is excellent value , very friendly and extremely helpful regarding tourist information and key spots to visit in the North Island - Northland. We went for dinner and followed up with brunch the next day. - Good value both times. The markets added to the ambeience too
It was expensive for what we had in mind.

The hotel room was nicely decorated, very clean and had a balcony with a view of the plaza and canal below. It was within walking distance of the boat harbour and beach, and within easy driving distance of other beaches.
The cafe below played loud music most of the evening on the weekend. It did quieten down about ten.

Location.... The nearest motel to a family function I was attending
Lack of outdoor chair to sit on deck. Marks on carpet and also the bed blanket. Lack of small table to put a cup of tea on.
